This book gutted me. From start to finish I couldn't put this book down. The angst at times was so frustrating I just wanted to jump in the book and shake the characters.

B was a character who I had trouble with at the beginning, but towards the end I ended up loving her even with her being stubborn. Everyone might not end up loving her like I did, but she is definitely a heroine I'll think about for awhile. She was strong but also very self destructive in a way. I somewhat related to her.

Jamie on the other hand had me from the start. His love for B was so big and I loved him. He was kind and loving and all around amazing.

This is a book that will have you sit and think for a day. It will also make you crave whiskey and go surfing. All in all I loved this book and I now love this author even more!!!
