Heat Wave by Karina Halle

⭐️⭐️⭐️FIVE STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm going to fist start off and say that I was loved this book. I am no stranger to Karina Halle's work, and every book I've read by her has been a 5+ review. Her writing style immediately captivates me and I've gotten to the point where as soon as I see a book by her go live, I buy it. Heat Wave was no different. The writing style was written in a way that along with the romance part of the story, I felt like I was riding through all the grief that both Ronnie and Logan felt.

With the story starting off with a great prologue, you will immediately want to keep reading. I fell in love with Ronnie from the start. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I will say that she was very strong, and some of the things she had to handle I wouldn't have been able too.

Logan had so much heart. For me I warmed up to Logan quickly and I thought he was perfect for Ronnie. With the ongoing conflict between these two, I couldn't wait until they overcame it.

Along with the great writing and romance, the setting played a factor in my five star review as well. While I was reading the book I was constantly researching Kauai and wondering how fast I could get there. I mean who wouldn't research places like this:

"Hanalei Bay is a gorgeous spot, and, in my opinion, the prettiest beach on the island."

All in all, this book is definitely in my top 10 for 2016. I recommend this for all romance lovers, and people who want to be on Kauai for a day or too:)
